In part 3 of module 4 I embedded a presentation on Digital Responsibility that I found on SlideShare. The SlideShare website was launched in 2006 and is a slide hosting website. It can host PowerPoint, Keynote, PDF or OpenDocument presentations.
To join SlideShare you have to have a LinkedIn account, as SlideShare was acquired by LinkedIn in 2012.
To embed a SlideShare presentation:
- Go to www.slideshare.com
- Select a presentation
- Click on the Share button and from the four options available (Email, Embed, WordPress shortcode, Link) choose the option for WordPress shortcode and copy (Ctrl + C)
- Open up the WordPress blog and on a new blog page paste (Ctrl + V) the code right into the visual editor.
